Read This License Ownership Restrictions on Use Limited Warranty Remedies General
The Author grants you, as an individual or an entity, a non-exclusive license to use the Software. There are three types of license: If an Individual license has been granted then only the registered person may use the Software, but may do so indefinitely and in any work or domestic situation. If a Departmental license has been granted to an establishment, then only employees within the named department of that establishment may use the Software but only in connection with their work with that establishment and department and only whilst in the employ of that establishment. If a Site license has been granted to an establishment, then any employee of that establishment may use the Software but only in connection with their work with that establishment and only whilst in the employ of that establishment. In the case of all licenses, the registered licensed usersmay copy the Software any number of times for use with any number of their classes.
You may not alter the code in any manner.
You may not pass a registered copy of
the Software to a third party for any reason.
Part a)
The Author warrants that the Software
is supplied to you free from all viruses. Also,
that the media on which the Software is provided, Floppy disc or C.D. as applicable, (the
Media) is also free of defect in materials or workmanship for a period of 60
days from the date of registration. Should
the Author receive notification of any such defects within the warranty period; then the
Media will be replaced.
Part c)
This limited warranty gives you
specific legal rights, which do not replace your statutory rights.
Part b)
In no event
shall the Author be liable for any damages whatsoever (including without limitation
damages for loss of business profits, business interruption, loss of business information
and any other pecuniary loss) arising from the use of or inability to use the Software.
This agreement constitutes the entire understanding of the parties and revokes and supersedes all prior agreements, both oral and written. This agreement shall take precedence over any document that may be in conflict herewith.
